The President, Mr. Mattarella at Genoa Boat Show

The signal horn at 6 P.M. on Tuesday 25th September brought down the curtain on the 58th edition of the Genoa International Boat Show which looks like to be a new record edition. For the organisation with this edition they have not just achieved excellent results in terms of visitors and business, but also as in terms of local marketing, in a moment certainly critical for the whole Liguria region. Indeed, the numbers certify this unquestionable success – with 174.610 visitors, + 16% more than last year .
The 2018 edition will also be remembered as the first to have received the official visit of a President of the Republic. The President, Mr. Sergio Mattarella reached “the Superba” on Monday 24th in the morning and, after meeting the local authorities and a group of children left homeless after the collapse of the Morandi bridge, visited the Hall B where accompanied by the president of Ucina, Carla Demaria, he first saw the law enforcement stands and then he admired the sailing and the big yachts area. Here he stopped in front of Mylius’s yachts, in particular the Mylius 80′ which was also the flagship of the Boat Show, and he congratulated Mrs. Valentina Gandini who was on the stand.

Salone Nautico Genova

After being exposed until last Sunday at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the Mylius 80′ has now moved to Genoa for the 58th edition of the Boat Show. Here it will be the flagship not only of our shipyard, but of the entire sailing sector that will show off in the city of Lanterna. For the occasion alongside the “Twin Soul B” it will be moored the new Mylius 60′ (launched in August). Genoa provides us the opportunity to let the world see side by side our two main projects of the 2018.

Looking forward to meeting you at the Stand B5 from Thursday 20th until Tuesday 25 th.

In a few days “Lady First III” is going to leave the Tuscan seas to reach the French waters and then to race from September 29th up to October 7th in the important regatta “Les Voiles de Saint Tropez” while the second 60′ after a few weeks of cruising will be shown at the 58th Genoa Boat Show.

New Mylius 60′

The 60′ yachts are not new to the shipyard that, after the success of the model built between 2013 and 2015, has decided to resume the new design standards developed with the new Mylius 65′ and proceed with the redesign of the Mylius 60 ‘.

Lady First III“, the first yacht built in the new version, has recently left the construction site of Podenzano and has been carried to La Spezia where it is going to be finished before the launch and the first miles of navigation.

Mainsail – CNN

The June episode of “Mainsail”, a well-known monthly program transmitted on CNN international sports channels, is dedicated to the world of Italian sailing. The episode “Italian sailing on beautiful Capri” focuses on the events that animated last May: the launch of “Luna Rossa” in Trieste and the Rolex Capri Sailing Week in the Gulf of Naples and Mylius is among the protagonists of this last. Mylius’s boats that were in Capri for the last Mylius Cup appear several times in the video, shown both during the regatta and on the quai.

Among the boats stands out the new Mylius 80′ “Twin Soul B” to which is dedicated an exclusive space, with also an interview of Mr. Luciano Gandini our president/owner by the program’s host – Shirley Robertson – Olympic champion in Sydney 2000 in the Europe class and in Athens 2004 in the Yngling class.
